Do you want to prepare yourself for those tricky math questions in standardized tests such as GRE, GMAT, MCAT, ACT, or SAT? Do you want to know how clear is your understanding of basic mathematical concepts since you left college? Or, do you just enjoy a challenging mathematical test? If you said yes to any of them, then MathQ is for you.

MathQ tests your understanding of the fundamental mathematical concepts. MathQ focuses on mathematical logic and abstract reasoning rather than computational skill. Think of MathQ as an IQ test for your mathematical intelligence.

MathQ is standard multiple-choice format and based on high school level mathematics: basic arithmetic, introductory algebra, and simple geometry. However, this is not a test of your ability to use calculator. Each question is developed to test a core concept with minimal of number crunching. MathQ is meant to improve your mathematical thought process by probing deeper into implication of each mathematical idea. The questions are designed to test your understanding of subtleties of each concept, generalization and limitation of each idea, and forces you to think about those special cases that are often used in standardized tests to trick you.

In particular, MathQ is developed with two kinds of people in mind. First, the students who are preparing for a standardized test and wants to do really well in the math section. If you are preparing for a graduate test such as GRE, GMAT, or MCAT or you preparing for SAT or ACT, MathQ is developed for you. If you already know the basics and looking to master the challenging questions then you are ready for MathQ. MathQ covers tricky word problems, data sufficiency, and quantitative comparisons. If you have a high MathQ score, it would be easy for you to do well in those tests.

The second kind of people are those who are working in a field that needs mathematical reasoning. If you just want to sharpen your mathematical reasoning and brush up things you learned a while ago or you just want a quick preparation for a job interview then MathQ can be of great help.

To fit your schedule MathQ offers 10min, 20min, or 30min tests with 10, 20, and 30 questions per test, respectively. A scaled score is computed that can be compared across tests with different size. Irrespective of the size of the test, the composition and difficulty of each test is kept the same. MathQ also let you store all your scores to track your performance.

If you need in-depth review of the topics covered in MathQ, please check our other apps: ACT MATH Foundation, SAT MATH Review, GRE MATH Review, or GMAT MATH review.
